Jennifer Loy is Professor of Additive Manufacturing in the School of Engineering, Deakin University. Her specialisation is design for additive manufacturing (3D printing), focussing on personalised products and industry transformation for a digital age. Prior to her role at Deakin, Jennifer was Professor of Product Design at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), and before that Professor of Industrial Design in Griffith University (GU).

Her experience includes Deputy Director of the GU Centre for Creative Arts Research and research theme leader at UTS in Transformative Technologies (digital) across Design, Architecture and Building. She is an Adjunct Professor of the Menzies Health Institute and was a founder member of the Gold Coast Orthopaedic Research and Education Alliance (GU). Jennifer leads the postgraduate additive manufacturing specialisation at Deakin and is leader of the 3DEC Design for Additive Manufacturing Lab focussed on ProActive Living research.
